Orange Court
Rules of the Tennis 10’s tournaments organization.
General provisions:
1.Participation in the tournament is allowed only in one category (red or orange or green).
2.A kid makes a transition to a higher category of a tournament (or playing a tournament of a higher category) according to the following requirements:
•Has played at least 2 tournaments in his/her category.
• Has forwarded to the MTF to the name of the Kid’s Tennis Committee of the MTF transition application 5 days before the competition.
• Has received approval from the MTF Kid’s Tennis Committee based on the submitted application, to play this tournament, or to play all the next tournaments in the higher category.
• In case of refusal from the Kid’s Tennis Committee side, those who applied will be given the reasons of refusal and further recommendations.
The system of classification Tennis 10’s
"Orange Court"
1. The points are calculated (once in 3 months), but are not publicized. It is used the system of hidden ranking.
2. At each match for wining are awarded 3 points.
3. For participation at each at each match 1 point is awarded.
* This calcification is not published and it is used in secret in order to keep the distribution and request objective, which can appear at selections and tournaments.
Rules of Orange court tournaments organization:
- Mandatory age - kids under 9, but only those who already are 7 years old. In competition players will be accepted only after the presentation of a birth certificate or a note indicating the year of birth.
- Size of the Court s – 18m./6.5-8.23 m.
- Net height- 80-91 cm.
- The ball- 50% slower than a yellow ball.
- The racket- 58-63 cm.
- Recommended scoring format - circular, the number of subgroups depends on the number of players. Matches for all places are played .3 tie-breaks up to 7. At the 6:6 score the decisive point is played.
- Entry fee - not more than 70 lei.
- Prizes-each participant should receive a prize/souvenir from the tournament organizers. Winners and medalists of the tournament (1- 4 places) receive diplomas and medals.
- Prizes may be:
- labels and certificates of participation;
- sweets;
- souvenirs / toys;
- tennis attributes.
- Tournament organizers in a mandatory way should form the subgroups taking into the account the level, age and stage of preparation of participants.
